The term image transfer simply refers to the process of removing an image from one surface and placing it onto another.
Image transfers are often done using photos either printed with a standard home inkjet printer, laser printer or toner-based photocopies, and various transfer materials that are in most cases, inexpensive and easy to obtain.
This process can be done by using solvents (such as acetone), heat or acrylic glues and mediums.
The obvious value of this process is that it allows transferring an image from an inkjet or a laser printer onto any surface.
Also the beauty of this process is that it produces absolutely unique, charming images.
